Obituary for Walter Allen Campbell
Walter Allen Campbell, 84, of Friendsville, MD, died Monday, November 28, 2022, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD.
Born July 8, 1938, in Tracy City, TN, he was the son of the late Howard and Frances (Meyers) Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was in sales and real estate for Mountain Log and Siding. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church, Accident, MD, NRA, Woodman Camp 45 and was the treasurer of Blooming Rose Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Helen (Sisler) Campbell; two daughters, Sheila Rae (Jacques) Hourtal, Oakland, MD; Shawna Lynn (Joseph) Upole, Grantsville; one sister, Barbara Sue Prescott, Cleveland, OH; two granddaughters, Megan Ashley Knotts, Morgantown, WV; Kylie Elizabeth Upole, Frostburg, MD; three great-grandchildren, Adaline Isabella Knotts, Briella Lane Kent and Thalia Martin.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronald Rosner officiating. Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
