Obituary for Trina Lou Wengerd

Trina L. Wengerd, 54, of Frostburg, MD, died at her home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Born March 13, 1967, she was the youngest child of the late Budd and Kathy (Miller) Wengerd.

She is survived by her two sisters, Beth (Don) Green and Lisa (Rod) Tissue; she was a devoted aunt to Chelsea (Charlie) Miller, Jared (Alyssa) Green, Hannah (Mike) Ferguson and Lydia (Derek) Harnish; she adored her great nieces, Nora, Anna and Emma and her great-nephews, Judah and Luke. She is also survived by special aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a wonderful group of people who were her work “family” at Tri-State Management and her beloved cat, Zoe.

Trina enjoyed reading, travel, hummingbird sightings, watching the Kentucky Derby and historical first person portrayals. She was an expert at all types of puzzles; she had a delightful sense of humor and a kind heart. Trina was a devoted care giver for her father during his illness in the final year of his life. She was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church and a graduate of Waynesburg University.

Due to current health concerns, private services will be held at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, with Pastor John Verburg officiating.
