Obituary for Tilden Myrl Wilt
Tilden Myrl Wilt, 62, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at his residence.
Born April 22, 1961, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Tilden Hubert Wilt and his step-mother, Mary (Everd) Wilt. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra (Friend) Wilt; step-brother, Albert C. Everd; step-sister, Sandra Gray.
Mr. Wilt was a laborer and a volunteer with the WV Special Olympics. Tilden was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Angela (Pysell) Wilt; two sons, Cody Wilt, Friendsville, MD; Brandon Wilt, Bruceton Mills; one step-daughter, Amber (Andy) Schlosnagle, Sykesville, MD; two step-brothers, Joseph T. (Christie) Everd, Baltimore, MD; Nicholas (Sharon) Everd, Oakland, MD; one step-sister, Annabelle (David) Martin, Oakland; three step-grandchildren, Liam Murphy, Ryan Schlosnagle and Emma Schlosnagle.
Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Galen Beitzel officiating. Military rites will be accorded by Grantsville Post 214, American Legion. Cremation will follow services.
