Obituary for Ronald LeRoy Campbell Sr.
Ronald LeRoy Campbell, Sr., 89, of Grantsville, MD, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland, MD.
Born October 18, 1932, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Regan and Mabel (Hampton) Campbell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann (Talley) Campbell; and two sons, Ronald Campbell, Jr. and Jimmy Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was an electrician and inspector Planner for Bethlehem Steel and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Grantsville Post 214, American Legion and Walker-Harris Post 8826, V.F.W., Salisbury, PA.
A service will be held at the Maryland State Veteran’s Cemetery, Rocky Gap, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with the Military Chaplain officiating.
