Robert McCelland Landon, 91, of Friendsville, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Cherry Hill Assisted Living, Accident, MD.

Born October 23, 1931, in Mt. Lake Park, MD he was the son of the late William Edward Landon and Sicela Alta (Martin) Landon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, June Alberta (Uphold) Landon; a brother, William E. Landon and a sister, Mary Betty Landon.

Robert was a member of Laurel Run Church of God and W.O.W. Camp 45. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. In his spare-time he was an avid woodworker.

He is survived by a son, Joseph Landon; two daughters, Janet Edgington and Cheryl Landon; a brother, Charles Landon; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at Blooming Rose Cemetery on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Craig Bolyard officiating.
