Obituary for Richard Eugene Shaffer
Richard Eugene Shaffer, 68, of Grantsville, MD, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his residence.
Born February 22, 1954, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Homer and Leora (Bittinger) Shaffer. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Homer Shaffer, Jr. and one sister, Sharon Pietrowski.
Mr. Shaffer was a laborer.
He is survived by two sisters, Debra Quinones and Anna Hensley.
At his request he will be cremated and a burial will take place in the spring in the Bittinger Cemetery.
Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
