Obituary for Richard Emerson Downie
Richard Emerson Downie, 76, of Grantsville, MD, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at his residence.
Born July 29, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late, Dorothy Wood. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Downie.
Mr. Downie was a consultant with the Department of Defense and a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his companion, Michele.
At his request he will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
