Obituary for Paul Edward Sisler
Paul Edward Sisler, 66, of Reedsville, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born July 2, 1956, in Kingwood, WV, he was the son of LouAnna (Shafer) Sisler, Hazelton, WV and the late Stanley Sisler. He was also preceded in death by one son, John Paul Sisler; two brothers, Roy Lee Sisler and Jerry Lynn Sisler; maternal grandparents, Frank and Dessie (Hauger) Shafer; paternal grandparents, Roy and Cora (Burch) Sisler.
Mr. Sisler was the previous pastor of the White Oak Church and was retired from Blacksville #2 Coal Mine. He was a member of the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church and the Preston Co. Antique Tractor and Machinery Association. Paul enjoyed going to church and Antique Tractor Shows.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie (Sines) Sisler; one son, Douglas Sisler, Reedsville, WV; two brothers, Richard (Shirley) Sisler, Havelock, NC; Wayne Lee (Leslie) Sisler, Keyser, WV; two sisters, Linda (Lawrence) Michaels, Middle River, MD; Adra (Buddy Joe) Lewis, Bruceton Mills, WV; one grandson, Justin (Taylor) Stockdale; one granddaughter, Kaylie Sisler; two great-granddaughters, Zoie and Azalim Stockdale; five nephews, David Sisler, Danny Sisler, Scott Lewis, Karoll Michaels and Lorran Michaels; and one niece, April Manners.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, MD, on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Sisler officiating. Cremation will follow services.
