Obituary for Matthew Jacob Fisher
Matthew Jacob Fisher, 17, of Meyersdale, PA, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at his residence.
Born July 18, 2005, in Meyersdale, he was the son of Jacob L. and Rebecca (Yoder) Fisher, Meyersdale. He was preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Fisher; maternal grandfather, Simon C. Yoder; and one nephew, Marcus John Fisher.
Matthew was a farmer and a member of the Greenville Amish Church.
Along with his parents, he is also survived by nine brothers, Joshua Jay Fisher and wife, Nancy, Samuel Joseph Fisher, Nathan James Fisher, David Jason Fisher, Daniel John Fisher, Paul Jethro Fisher, Emmanuel Joel Fisher, Thomas Josiah Fisher and Caleb Jeremiah Fisher; two sisters, Laura Mae Fisher and Rhoda Marie Fisher; maternal grandmother, Ruth Yoder; and paternal grandparents, Levi and Effie Fisher.
Friends will be received at the home, 587 Lohr Rd., Meyersdale, PA 15552, starting in the afternoon on Monday and all day Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted in the Greenville Amish Church on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. with Bishop Jonas Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Greenville Amish Cemetery.
