Obituary for Mary Ellen Stark (Wiland)
Mary Ellen Stark, 72, of Lonaconing (Avilton), MD, died Friday, November 5, 2021, at her home.
Born April 2, 1949, in Avilton, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ora (Garlitz) Wiland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marshall Stark, June 24, 1977, a brother, Gary Wiland and a sister, Judy Broadwater.
Mary was a homemaker and member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Michael Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Wilhelm and husband, Randall, Vicki Friend and husband, John, all of Lonaconing, Jennifer Alexander, Frostburg; three brothers, her twin, Marlin Wiland, Sylvan Wiland and wife, Beverly, Grantsville and Walter Wiland and wife, Mary Jane, Florida; eight grandchildren, Michael Keister and wife, Jamie, Randall Wilhelm and wife, Christine, Andrew Wilhelm and companion, Chelsea Stephens, Bailey Alexander, Tanner Friend, Makayla Alexander, Camden Friend and Kyley Alexander, two great granddaughters, Macey Keister and Caylee Wilhelm and her faithful dog, Kipper.
A Private Family Service was held at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD. At her request, cremation followed the service.
