Obituary for Marlin Dean Georg
Marlin Dean Georg, 77, of Grantsville, MD, died Thursday, December 8, 2022, at his residence.
Born August 3, 1945, in Tarentum, PA, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Effie (Klotz) Georg.
Marlin was a truck driver for MD SHA and a farmer. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Accident, MD.
He is survived by one brother, Elden M. (Michelle) Georg, Accident; two nephews, Alexander Lawrence (Alyssa Shannon) Georg and David Marlin Georg; one niece, Ariane (Jerome) Porter.
Friends will be received at the Zion Lutheran Church, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Hertel officiating. His ashes will be inurned in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
