Obituary for John Wayne Romesburg
John Wayne Romesburg, 96, of Accident, MD, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at his home, on the 47th anniversary of he and his wife's first date.
Born August 20, 1925, in Masontown, PA, he was the son of the late Scott and Edna (Miller) Romesburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Whiteley; two sons, John Scott Romesburg and Donald Rode; two brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Romesburg was a retired iron worker for Bethlehem Steel, Sparrow's Point, MD. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Faye (Reighard) Romesburg; four sons, Jerry (Rebecca) Romesburg, George (Mary) Rode, Frank (Dawn) Rode and William (Linda) Rode; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 102 N. Main Street, Accident, MD, with the Rev. Peter Suwak officiating.
