Obituary for John Nicholas Hoffman
On March 3, 2023, John Nicholas Hoffman went home to be with our Lord and Savior.
John was born September 1, 1951, in Ellicott City, he was the son of the late John C. and Pauline (Brandenburg) Hoffman. He was also preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William V. and Hilda Hoffman, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Roy and Sadie Brandenburg; and adopted brother, Frank Albert Newman.
He was a mechanic for 60 years and had graduated from Glenelg High School. John loved fast cars, fishing, hunting, gardening, working on cars and motorcycles.
John is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Miriam Fischer; one sister, Sharon Hoffman Hall and her husband, Mike; one brother, Donald E. Hoffman; two nephews, Nicholas James Coomes and Christopher Coomes, with many more nephews, nieces and cousins.
At his request, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
