Obituary for John Richard Harsh
John Richard Harsh, 81, of Aurora, WV, passed away on October 20, 2022, at his home.
Born May 7, 1941, he was the son of the late Leona Mae (Harsh) Wotring and step-son of the late Spencer King Wotring. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Ardith Jarrett.
John was a veteran and worked for Goodyear Tire in Ohio before moving back to West Virginia. He was also a truck driver for Deep Creek Ready Mix and was the owner and operator of J&B Trucking. He also worked on the landing for Stoney Hill Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Ella Bliss (Camp) Harsh; four sons, Scot Allan Ray & Mildred, Terra Alta, WV; Wayne Dean Ray & Karen, Mt Lake Park, MD; Richard Leroy Ray & Sheryl, Anchorage, AK; and Alvin Cecil Ray, Martinsburg, WV; one brother, Tom Wotring, Fredericksburg, VA; one nephew; two great-nephews; one great-niece; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
John will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Interment will be at Grafton National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
