Obituary for James William Sullivan
James William Sullivan, 86, of Seaford, DE, died Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his residence.
Born April 2, 1936, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Timothy and Margaret Ellen (Pfeifer) Sullivan. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, John L., Christopher F. and George P. Sullivan; one sister, Noreen M. Johnson.
After high school Mr. Sullivan worked as a machinist at Bethlehem Steel and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He graduated from Towson University and went on to work as an occupational therapist and counselor.
He is survived by his wife, Vida Marie (Schroyer) Sullivan; one brother, Matthew R. Sullivan; two sisters, Jeanne E. Bachman and Margaret A. Heilman.
A memorial service will be held in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Walt Walters officiating.
