Obituary for Harper Faith Chapman

Harper Faith Chapman, 14 months, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Born October 24, 2021, she was the daughter of Keith Allen Chapman, Jr. and Faith Mae (Tichnell) Chapman. She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Bob & Lorene Dodge; paternal great-grandparents, Blondell & Alice Chapman; and maternal great-great-grandmother, Janet Mae Tichnell.

Harper loved horses, playing dress up, and dancing to stay busy. She will be missed by her best friend and companion, her dog, Cooper. She would always cheer her mom and dad on at the softball field from the sidelines. She was the best cuddler and loved to be loved.

Along with her parents, she is survived by paternal grandfather, Keith Chapman & girlfriend, Robin; paternal grandmother, Brenda Coddington & Jerry; maternal grandparents, Randy & Lori Tichnell; one aunt, Brandi Chapman & Chad, all of Oakland; three uncles, Tylon Chapman & Ashley, Bayard, WV; Anthony Crosco & girlfriend, Alexis and Nathan Tichnell & Brittany, all of Oakland; paternal great-grandparents Roger & Mary White and maternal great-grandparents, Larry & Janet Tichnell, all of Oakland; and cousins, Charles & Annabeth, Peyton, Carter, Bentley, and Maverick.

Friends will be received at Loch Lynn Church of God, 8649 Gorman Road, Oakland, MD 21550, on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be held at the church on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00am with Pastors Ivan & Cindy Akerman officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services. Interment will be at White Church Cemetery, Oakland.
