Glenn Maurice Schlosnagle, 88, of Accident, MD, departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Cherry Hill Assisted Living, Accident.
Born November 27, 1933, in Accident, he was the son of the late Howard & Maude (Spoerlein) Schlosnagle. He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Barbara (Rush) Schlosnagle; four brothers, Clark (Ethel), Raymond (Alta), Marvin (Peggy), John (Marie) Schlosnagle and six sisters, Mabel (Bill) Graves, Gladys (Roy) Broadwater, infant sister, Mariam Schlosnagle, Eleanor (Don) Groves, Marjorie (Earl) Higley and Dorothy (Harry) Moon.
Glenn was a self-employed modular home dealer serving as a sales representative for Keystone Homes for 25 years and farmed for 20 years prior to modular home dealer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during peacetime, lifelong member of Bear Creek Church of the Brethren where he served as a trustee and usher for many years.
Surviving is one son, Douglas (Susan) Schlosnagle, Pleasureville, KY; one brother, Eugene (Ethel) Schlosnagle, Newville, PA; two grandchildren, Chelsey (Taylor) Callis; Jared (Andrea) Schlosnagle; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Benjamin Callis; special friend, Donna Knox, Bridgeville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn loved people and sharing with them his many funny stories from days past. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Friends will be received at the Bear Creek Church of the Brethren, 1088 Brethren Church Road, Accident, Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Bear Creek Church of the Brethren, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Carl Fike and Pastor Jennifer Kreighbaum officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bear Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
