Obituary for Georgia Lee Baumann (Bodmer)
Georgia Lee (Bodmer) Baumann, 75, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at her home.
Born November 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late George Bodmer and Alice Gillott-Bodmer. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Baumann; one son, Ferdinand Baumann; one grandson, Tyler; and one granddaughter, Brittany.
Georgia was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Tasker and spouse Russell Tasker; Kara Hebb and spouse Keith Hebb; one brother, George R. Bodmer and spouse Celia Bodmer; two sisters, Betty Denby and Joyce Ann Allen; thirteen grandchildren, Mechelle, Michael, Sarah, Dustin, Meagan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Kaden, Gavin, Austin, Heather, Joshua, and Shannon; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550, on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00pm with Pastor Jimmy Bentley officiating. Graveside service will be at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754, on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00pm. Provided by Rausch Funeral Home.
