Gary Lynn Yoder, 60, of Grantsville, MD, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at his residence.

Born May 27, 1961, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of Thelma (Schrock) Yoder Beiler, Grantsville and the late Marlyn Denver Yoder. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Jonas David Beiler.

Gary worked a variety of construction jobs in Maryland and Virginia and more recently truck and car detailing. He was employed by Grantsville Truck and Trailer for detailing work. He took interest in drawing, photography, music, playing guitar and enjoyed walking.

Along with his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Leroy (Mildred) Yoder, Dennis Yoder, Wesley (Sharon) Yoder and two sisters, Twila (Jeff) Beitzel and Treva Beal, all of Grantsville; three nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew and one great-niece.

At his request, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
