Obituary for Gary Christner
Gary Christner, 76, of Salisbury, PA, died Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his residence.
Born August 29, 1946, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Eugene and Joan (Bittner) Christner.
Mr. Christner was a trackman with the CSX Railroad and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1965-1967. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a Chevy Corvette, Ford truck and Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelly Josiah Christner-Reed, Springfield, MA and one brother, Terry Christner, Meyersdale.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, from 12-1 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. James Oester officiating.
