Obituary for Fay Reese Wilt
Fay Reese Wilt, 79, of Grantsville, MD, died Sunday, March 6, 2022, at his son’s residence.
Born May 6, 1942, in Jennings, MD, he was the son of the late Loman and Lulu (Hoover) Wilt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Victoria (Hare) Wilt, January 30, 2012; one daughter, Sheila DeFalco; one brother, Charles Wilt; four sisters, Alverta Stanton, Marie Fazenbaker, Annabelle Bittinger and Shirlene Bittinger; three half-brothers, Frank, Robert and Paul Hay; one half-sister, Mary Etta Hay.
Mr. Wilt was a stone cutter for M&S Stone Quarry and a member of the Calvary Tabernacle, Accident, MD.
He is survived by two sons, Franklin Fay Wilt and Robert Eugene Wilt; one brother, Calvin Wilt; one sister, Betty Beachy, all of Grantsville; seven grandchildren, Margaret Lynn Wilt, Victoria Rose Wilt, Penny Kay Durst, Dee Durst, Taylon Wilson, Braelynn Wilson and Jalyssa Durst.
A memorial service will be held in the Calvary Tabernacle on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Pascal Crites officiating.
A private burial was held in the Bittinger Cemetery.
