Obituary for Eugene Kemp Pritts Jr.
Eugene Kemp Pritts, Jr. of Oakland, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Doey’s House Hospice in Hagerstown, MD.
Born September 19, 1958, he was the son of Dottie (Moon) Pritts and the late Eugene Kemp Pritts, Sr.
Eugene worked as a heavy equipment operator for Rush Excavating.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Connie Sue (Rishell) Pritts; one son, Andrew Pritts, Oakland; one daughter, Laura Pritts, Oakland; two brothers, Gary L. Pritts and Dayton Pritts, both of Oakland; two sisters, Sue Steyer, Oakland, and Juanita Eichmiller, Gibsonia, PA.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD 21550, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be conducted at the funeral homes chapel on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 11:00am, with Pastor Barbara Rexrode officiating.
Interment will be at Thompson Cemetery in Oakland.
