Obituary for Dwight Ronald Folk
Dwight Ronald Folk, 78, of Grantsville, MD, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his residence.
Born September 28, 1944, in Grantsville, he was the son of the late Dwight Otto and Fern (King) Folk.
Mr. Folk was owner and operator of Folk’s Paint and Glass and had also worked as an auto body technician. He was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church and the National Wood Carving Association. Ron was a scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America and coached little league for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Dotty (Hetrick) Folk; one son, Jeffrey (Brandi) Folk, McHenry, MD; one brother, Rick Folk, Grantsville; one sister, Linda (Guy Wayne) Hardesty, Salisbury, PA; two grandchildren, Timothy and Madison.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Verburg officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
