Dorsey Bland Rose, Jr., 73, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at his home.
Born May 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Dorsey B. Rose, Sr. and Iona (Stump) Rose.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Burns, Oakland; three sisters, Donna Frum & husband, Paul, Patty Forbes & husband, Melvin, all of Morgantown, WV, and Jean White & Glenn, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Brittany Carr & Tyler, Bryan Burns, and Brandon Burns & Grace; four great-grandchildren, Walker, Aria, Dawson, and Penelope; and several nieces and nephews.
At Dorsey’s request, he will be cremated and no services are planned.
Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, is in charge of his arrangements.
