Dorothy Ellen Hare, 87, of Salisbury, PA, died Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale, PA
Born April 20, 1935, in Grantsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Bittinger) Bittinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hare; one son, Brian Hare; two brothers, Willard Bittinger and David Bittinger and two sisters, Gloria McKenzie and Arlene Friend.
Mrs. Hare was a seamstress at the former Fleetwood Folding Trailers, Somerset, PA.
She is survived by one son, William Hare, Salisbury; one sister, Doris Engle, Meyersdale; one sister-in-law, Lois (Willard) Bittinger and two grandchildren, Jessica Hare and Ryan Hare and wife, Emily.
The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Becky Spiker and Jeannette Lowery.
Mrs. Hare will be cremated; no services are planned at this time. Her remains will be interred in Salisbury Cemetery.
