Obituary for Brandon Lee Friend
Brandon Lee Friend, 33, of Friendsville, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his grandmother’s home.
Born April 21, 1989, Brandon was the son of Barbarella Friend and fiancé, Rick Wilt and the father of Rayden Lee Friend, he was Brandon’s world and the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Lee Friend; great-grandparents, Edgar and Peggy Sines, Delorice and Ford Friend; and cousin, Amber Dawn (Friend) Witt.
Along with his parents and son, he is also survived by one brother, Zachary Tyler Friend and fiancée, Sydney Rivera, Orange County, TX; one sister, Bailee Storm Wilt and grandmother, Marilyn Rebecca Friend, both of Friendsville; aunt and uncle, Kim and Donald Glisan, Markleysburg, PA; uncles, James Friend, Brian Friend and partner, Tracy, all of Friendsville; cousins, Brandy Umbel, Clint Glisan and wife, Taylor, all of Markleysburg; Christian Friend and partner, Nelli, Alex Friend and fiancé, Gabe, all of Arcadia, FL; Rebecca Livengood and fiancé, Rusty, Salisbury, PA; Zoie Witt, Wyatt, Maddox and Emberlynn Umbel, all of Markleysburg; numerous great-aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Dana Umbel officiating. Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryon Umbel, Drew Sisler, Clint Glisan, Maddox Umbel, Zachary Friend and Jonathan Barder.
